Smooth Swing is committed to making smoothswinggolfshop.com usable by everyone, including people who browse with screen readers, keyboard navigation, screen magnification, or other assistive technology.

The standard we work to

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. These guidelines are the benchmark most widely used to judge whether a website is accessible, and they are the standard referenced in U.S. Department of Justice guidance under the Americans with Disabilities Act.

What we have done

Our storefront was audited in September 2026 using automated accessibility testing across every page type and screen size. Following that audit we:

  • Corrected text and interface colours that did not meet the 4.5:1 contrast ratio required for body text, and 3:1 for meaningful non-text elements.
  • Fixed a mobile menu that could be reached by keyboard while hidden from view, and made it announce itself correctly to screen readers.
  • Enlarged small buttons, links and form controls so they can be operated reliably by touch or by people with limited dexterity.
  • Corrected the heading structure and form labelling used by screen readers to navigate each page.
  • Confirmed every page reflows without horizontal scrolling from 320px through to widescreen desktop.

Known limitations

We are not claiming full conformance. Some content on this site comes from third parties we do not control, including embedded video and social media review feeds, and its accessibility may fall short of the standard above. We are also a small business with an inventory that changes daily, and newly listed products may briefly carry incomplete image descriptions.
